Preparing for Valentine's Day and the 100th Day of School

Noah is camped out watching daddy as he fixes the sewer tank sensors. Fun stuff and Noah had to be with Daddy. It was not a great Valentine's Day as both Sarah and Noah woke up with fevers of 102 degrees. We spent the day at home napping, playing games and watching movies. It has been awhile since we have had such a lazy weekend. Luckily Mom and Dad snuck out on Friday night before the fevers started and had a nice dinner out, the church kept the kids, ours and 40 others from 6-8:30 so that the parents could go out.

Sarah is ready for the 100th day of school. Mom is not so crafty now with the 3 kids but did manage to find Hannah's shirt from 1st grade that Sarah could wear to school. It was also yellow day for Character Education too. Sarah counted to 100 with dry macaroni and did all kinds of fun activities all day. Hannah said she didn't do anything special just work on the 100th day at her school. I guess it is tough getting older.

Happy Valentine's Day! Hannah proudly shows off her bouquet of hearts she made for her class. Foam hearts hooked to pipe cleaners wound around pencils for all the kids in her class. She was very busy. Sarah had a playdate at a friends house and came home with over half of her Valentines done so she didn't have to make too many at home. We have been keeping busy the past week with Hannah's jump rope team practices, dance classes and Sarah's piano lessons. Noah has played with Chase and Rachel and is getting very good at sharing.

Hope that you all have a good week. Next weekend is Hannah's Winter Festival at school and Hannah sings in church. We will also be driving down to Maryland on Sunday to watch Uncle Ted in an organ recital accompanied by Aunt Gretchen on Flute. They are travelling to Littlestown and then to Somerset to do the recital to in March. Let me know if you are interested in some AWESOME music and I can get you dates and times.
